Radio National/Regional Account Executive | KXLY Radio Group | Phase 3 Digital | Spokane, WA

About this opportunity:

Phase 3 Digital, a full-service digital solutions provider, and the KXLY Radio Group include well-known radio brands like 92.9 KZZU, The Big 99.9 Coyote Country, Rock 94 ½, Hot 96.9, KXLY AM 920/100.7 and 700 ESPN.  We are looking for a dynamic sales-minded individual to join our digital and radio advertising sales team.   You will represent the KXLY Radio Group and Digital properties to spot sales offices and regional client marketing executives.  You will be involved in all areas related to new business development, sports sales, radio and digital sales coordination.  You must want to grow professionally and move at the speed of light while still having fun. 

 

What you’ll do:

  • Represent KXLY Radio Group and Phase 3 Digital properties to spot sales offices, regional advertising agencies
  • Responsible for new business development, sports sales, radio and digital sales
  • Consistently achieve sales goals
  • Responsible for collection of accounts
  • Provide forecast guidance on a weekly and quarterly basis
  • Consistently document activity and communication in a CRM system
  • Assist Radio GSM with all sports package development and pricing
  • Assist Radio GSM with tracking of Sports opportunities sold
  • Responsible for all Political Advertising sales and documentation within the public file
  • Other sales coordination, administrative duties as assigned by the Radio General Sales Manager

 

What you’ll bring:

  • An understanding of strategic account management, ratings, and digital execution
  • Extensive Nielsen ratings, Tapscan and Scarborough knowledge
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision as well as collaboratively with others
  • Ability to work under pressure and within deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills, flexibility, and assertiveness to meet goals
  • Demonstrated strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Five or more years of experience in a media sales, integrated selling and digital advertising sales environment preferred
  • WideOrbit experience in a sales or traffic environment preferred
  • Agency media buying experience preferred
