We are seeking a smart, organized and customer-focused individual who will serve as the primary liaison for local and network programming to serve the entertainment and informational needs of our community.  If you enjoy a fast-paced media environment where you are at the center of it all, this is for you.

What you’ll do:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with our external network relations teams, distributors, and internal staff
• Acquire compelling content to enhance programming quality and audience engagement
• Execute and maintain all program contracts
• Oversee and manage program scheduling for television broadcasts ensuring seamless coordination and compliance
• Communicate programming changes to pertinent internal and external personnel
• Create weekly and quarterly programming grids
• Provide all required reports to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC)
• Respond to all viewer inquiries
• Resolve issues with programs not listed with carriers
• Keep track of missed or pre-empted programs to reschedule or resolve spots
• Assist customers with traffic or programming questions
• Fill out all required reports to Nielsen
• Log breaking news reported by the network
• Other duties as assigned

What you’ll bring:

• 5 years of broadcast programming experience preferred
• Knowledge of general administrative procedures, policies and methods
• Exceptional time management, organizational and prioritization skills with a particular emphasis on follow-through and attention to detail
• Must be a very strong communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills and a strong focus on customer service
• Strong working experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
