Job Description:

TITLE: TV Local Sales Coordinator
HOURS: Full Time
REPORTS TO: TV General Sales Manager
 
JOB OBJECTIVE:
The TV Local Sales Coordinator will be an active participant in the sales and marketing process, contributing creative ideas and feedback while lending administrative support.  Will provide general administrative assistance to TV Sales Department, coordinate station sales promotions and participate in possible grooming opportunities for an Account Executive role.
 
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: 
Promotional campaign execution on behalf of clients and the station
Facilitate inter-office communications to insure all promotions media assets and campaigns are delivered successfully for clients 
General administrative assistance to General Sales Manager, National Sales Manager, Local Sales Manager & Account Executives
Partner and strategize with Account Executives to create original, unique and professional presentations
Create compelling recaps for all media campaigns, air checks, screen shots and video recaps
Primary backup for National Sales Assistant and Digital Sales Specialist
Communicate professionally with Account Executives and clients daily as a solutions provider
Digital and traditional (Wide Orbit) order entry for TV GSM, LSM, NSM and Account Executives
Maintain various spreadsheets, calendars and reports for TV Sales Department
Provide order assistance throughout entire campaign

Preferred Skills:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or equivalent; College education or 2 years relevant experience preferred
B.A. in Marketing, Business, Advertising, English, PR, or Communications ideal
Advanced skills with Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other MS Windows applications
Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator proficiency preferred
Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports
Superior time and project management skills and the ability to perform multiple tasks for many people
Ability to work independently, as well as with a team
Maintain a positive disposition when communicating with members of all departments, customers, listeners and outside vendors
Exceptional organizational skills and proven accuracy in work
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
