About Your LECC:

Idaho has four Local area Emergency Communications Committees, representing four regions ("operational areas") of our large state.  The chairman of each committee is automatically a member of the SECC.  In addition, each committee has members representing key parties involved with making EAS work in that region.  As radio waves don’t stop at state borders, each LECC works with their counterparts in neighboring states to make sure citizens on both sides of the boarder have access to timely and accurate public safety warnings.
